Description

3M™ Scotch-Weld™ Structural Plastic Adhesive 8010 is a two-part acrylic adhesive specially formulated to bond many low surface energy (LSE) plastics, including many grades of polypropylene, polyethylene, and thermoplastic elastomers (TPEs). This adhesive has a medium viscosity for controlled dispensing and spreads easily, creating structural bonds without the need for special surface treatments like chemical etching, plasma, flame, corona treatment, or priming. It offers a mix ratio of 10:1 and provides 8 minutes of working time, reaching handling strength in approximately 1 hour and fully curing in 24 hours at 73 °F (23 °C). 3M™ Scotch-Weld™ Structural Plastic Adhesive 8010 is available in a Duo-Pak (DP); when using this adhesive, or other Duo-Pak options, rely on 3M Applicators for convenient and accurate metering, mixing, and dispensing.
